paul, i would imagine he really CAN’T. his “house” character requires that he has about a week-or-so growth, and if he shaved right in the middle of production, then everything would be held up while they sit and wait for his beard to grow back. those hollywood production companies are on tight timeframes, and they lose big big bucks if filming and production is stopped.
